This is known as the duty of care. Companies must comply with relevant occupational health and safety laws, such as the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (NSW) and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (NSW), which outline the standards and procedures for maintaining a safe working environment. This includes regular cleaning and disinfection, particularly in the context of preventing the spread of infectious diseases. Companies may also have additional obligations under workplace health and safety policies and agreements.

Cleaning then coming back over the same surface with a disinfectant, what were told in most industries (from schools, hotels, age care, accommodation, mining and transport)  is “the disinfectant stinks, we have to wear gloves and it leave streaks” So a lot of business without the upper management teams knowing, they aren’t disinfecting! all they are doing in moving dirt around Not Killing Anything!

To increase your overall protection, removing smells and bring proactive stopping mould from growing, adding a easy area treatment one every 3months your can protect all surfaces to minimise surface transmission.
